Donation Partners
In order to operate sustainably and maximise our impact, Digital Links solicits donations of redundant IT equipment from UK-based organisations. Donated computers are professionally data wiped, refurbished and redistributed to schools and community groups in developing countries.
In the past six years Digital Links has distributed over 65,000 computers to 2,000 schools and other organisations in Africa. We have also developed innovative products such as a solar powered computer system for use in rural schools.
By supplying Digital Links with redundant IT assets, you can contribute to Digital Links initiatives and take advantage of our professional, ethical and hassle-free disposal service. To date we have enabled the reuse of computers from more than 500 UK organisations, and have provided over one and a half million young people with their first access to IT. Key donors include UK based corporations such as: Barclays, BUPA, Cadbury’s, DfID, DHL, Lloyd’s, Nestle UK, Reuters, RM and over 100 UK schools, among others.
