Cutting-Edge New Technologies
Through innovative partnerships Digital Links can offer a whole range of cutting-edge new technologies at an affordable cost for low-income groups across the developing world.
Digital Links provides access to high-quality new equipment through the Digital_Loan scheme. Backed by an exclusive partnership with DELL and AMD, Digital Links is able to provide brand new low-cost PCs and laptops and support government efforts in the computerisation of schools, universities, teacher training colleges and local communities.
All new equipment comes with an international manufacturer warranty and can be acquired through the Mecene Technology credit facility.
Digital Links proposes to selected governments full computerisation programmes for educational institutions, which can be implemented through the Mecene Technology Fund. These programmes not only provide access to ICT in the learning environment, but also create jobs in the teaching and IT sectors, whilst generating revenues and profits to make them self-sustaining. This unique proposition does not impact on the government’s allocated budget.
Digital Links also works directly with educational institutions and provides the highest quality equipment at an affordable cost. By implementing programmes such as 1 student / 1 laptop, or 1 teacher / 1 laptop through credit facilities Digital Links allows students and teachers to pay off the investment over a one or two year period at below market interest rates.
